MISSION / FUNCTION


Under the guidance of the Head of Mission, the Logistics Manager

wi

ll be responsible for mission’s procurement, general logistics, the fleet management, and asset, warehouse and security management of SIF in Nigeria.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Technically support the base logisticians, base managers and program managers;




  • Ensure that all procurements are compliant, tracked and recorded, and ensure that open and free competition for procurements is adhered to;




  • Manage all premises and fleet, follow up movements;




  • Ensure smooth communication and collaboration with all departments;




  • Ensure implementation of high Security & Safety standards;




  • Frame and support the deployment of SIF teams to new areas of intervention;




  • Support exploration and assessment missions to new areas;




  • Support program teams on the design of projects and specific SOP for emergency activities.

  • A Network Systems Engineer has the responsibility of setting up, developing and maintaining computer networks


Roles & Responsibilities



  • Establish networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards.

  • Design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment.

  • Maximise network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization

  • Undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide-area environments using information from multiple sources

  • Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy
