Job Title: SEO Specialist
Job Location: Enugu Nigeria
Starting Salary: #65,000 – #100,000 per month
Description
This is a full-time position in our Enugu office. No contractors, please. Our SEO team’s goal is to optimize and promote web properties to achieve high visibility in search engine results. Candidates for this position will combine skill sets from the worlds of Search Engine Marketing and SEO (Internal and external), online promotion and PR, Email Campaigns, and viral content campaigns. Preference given to candidates with prior experience in online reputation management (ORM), as well as local search.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute SEO strategies around our programs:
- Link building
- Research and list building
- Off page and On page Optimisation
- Content strategy and marketing
- Indexing
- Email Campaigns
- Perform on and off page technical SEO audits and competitor analysis
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships for content promotion and link opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date, personal knowledge of SEO in line with industry trends
- Track, analyze and optimize campaign performance based on the our KPIs
Qualifications/Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in English Language, Mass Communication, Journalism, Internet Media, BA or BSc with focus on communication, advertising and/or marketing
or its equivalent
Previous SEO, SEM, and email marketing will be an advantage.
Good media/writing experience will be accepted, as training will be provided.
Motivated self-starter and ability to work in a fast paced environment
