QUALITY MANAGER


DETAILS:

As a member of the healthcare team, the Quality Manager will work closely with the various departments to ensure that clinical and non-clinical processes are conducted in accordance with guidelines and regulations. The incumbent will be responsible for designing and coordinating quality enhancement activities in the hospital.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Responsible for designing and implementing quality enhancement programs

Ensuring good quality non-clinical services like infection control, security, diet etc

Review, evaluate, analyze and interpret data related to quality care from internal sources and external agencies.

Review all mortality cases for potential quality of care concerns and manage the occurrence database.

Assist departments in identifying and investigating problems / opportunities to improve patient care and services. Ensures that corrective actions are taken and monitored to determine effectiveness.

Functions as a “consultant” resource for designated medical staff and hospital departments to ensure integration of hospital wide quality enhancement initiatives.

Works with various committees and departments on quality enhancement goals and objectives consistent with the hospital’s philosophy and long-term plans.

Ensuring clean surroundings, OPD Areas, Wards, Labour Room, OT and Patient amenities and outsourced services;

Periodical assessment of hospitals on quality check list and arrive at a score for the facility;

Identification of gaps, develop action plan under the guidance of in- charge of the hospital and monitor compliance;

Ensuring that the hospital meets all regulatory compliances

Other duties, functions and responsibilities as may be assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of Clinical or Nursing Science.

Minimum 5 years Quality assurance experience

PREFERRED:


Quality assurance exposure in the healthcare industry. Hospital experience preferable.

Professional qualification in Healthcare Quality / Post graduate qualification in relevant field is a plus.


PROCUREMENT MANAGER, NIGERIA ECO-SYSTEM


DETAILS:

As the senior member of the Procurement organisation, the Nigeria Eco System Procurement Manager will work with work closely with the Group head of procurement as well as the various doctors of our hospitals to deliver on the procurement plan. Over the past few years, the Abraaj Growth Health Fund invested in various medical facilities that are currently being integrated. Spends are to be consolidated and tenders are to be initiated at Country level, levering on volumes and expertise.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them

Deliver on the Nigerian strategic procurement initiatives and roll out the procurement plan.

Develop key processes, procedures and work templates at Hospital level to ensure continuous improvement and adhere to the ISO 9001 principles

Foster savings by using the procurement levers such as standardisation, optimisation, consolidation and outsourcing.

Assist in building the category management plan

Ensure continuous supply of medical supplies whilst minimising inventory costs.

Co-ordinate tenders and negotiate with vendors as required.

Co-ordinate the effective resolution of vendor queries & other finance related issues. Assist in the sourcing of products as required.

Chair the Nigeria Eco System procurement committee

Implement the supplier performance management plan; roll out KPIs and report on performance of suppliers.

Manage price agreements and contracts as required.

Assist in Oracle system roll out throughout our facilities on the procurement agenda.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Post graduate qualification is a must, preferably in business, supply chain, procurement or equivalent field

Minimum 5 years Procurement experience in Multinational companies.

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup but not limited to)

Demonstrated ability to achieve cost savings.

Proven track records of designing and implementing procurement policies and procedures

Demonstrated ability to manage procurement projects from design to implementation and follow up


Preferred:

Procurement exposure in the healthcare or medical devices & pharmaceuticals industries

Chartered of instituted of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification would be a definite advantage.


MARKETING MANAGER


DETAILS:

The Marketing Manager is a key member of the Business Development team whose primary role is promotion of company’s brand and services to the consumer and medical audiences.  This covers all internal and external corporate communication, the planning and execution of marketing functions, including marketing content and materials;  media presence monitoring and follow-up, as well as marketing campaigns and any type of public event.


Role and Responsibilities:

Create and implement Marketing plan within budget, in conjunction with overall business strategy

Ensuring effective, branded marketing communications including marketing materials with appropriate content, the company website, print communication and social media. Ensuring effective communication internally as well

Manage projects such as PR events, launches, Marketing campaigns, medical fraternity events, clinical shows and exhibitions

Liaise with and manage all external agencies, such as PR, Creative, On-line, Media Buyers, Medical Publications

Liaise with all department Managers in-house, in creating marketing pieces for different areas e.g. GP Booklet, Patients Booklet etc.  Ensure effective communication with same

Maintain awareness of competitor activity and general healthcare updates

Protects Organization by delivering media reports and by keeping information confidential

Assists in recruitment, training, mentoring and supervision of commercial executives

Works closely with Business development team to support programs and initiatives with specific focus on adding business value in the long term.

Assess risks and make recommendations for mitigation

Monitor market trends, exploring ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability


Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them

Manage creation and distribution of Internal Newsletter (Spotlight on Staff) for internal communication within hospital.

Analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts and traffic analytics, delivering timely reports which document and quantify the impact of marketing efforts

QUALIFICATION:

Degree Marketing related qualification

PREFERRED:

Strong technical marketing background in the healthcare industry and social media savvy

Prior experience as Marketing Manager in a top-class hospital

A solid portfolio of created/managed websites; solid social media marketing experience;

Valued: knowledge and contacts in advertising and media agencies, as well as with creative professionals.


COMMERCIAL MANAGER


DETAILS:

The Commercial Manager is a key member of the hospital’s Business Development team whose primary role is responsibility for all sales and commercial related activities. With strong emphasis on HMOs.


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify new commercial opportunities to add value and increase company growth

Analyze sales and other reports that give insight into ways to improve performance

Coordinate commercial relationship, initiate new liaison, manage and resolve contract and other issues as they arise with

Health Maintenance organizations

Governmental and non – governmental organizations

Corporate and private clients’ accounts and International accounts

Clinical referral network

Develops in-depth, detailed analysis and reports on target organizations, identifying their needs, as well as defining adequate healthcare service proposals, fee schedules, and contract/agreement drafts

Maximizes the productivity of signed agreements by continuously monitoring customer’s needs and use of our services, by working with client to accelerate patient access and use of our facilities, and by detecting service failures and patient complaints to  follow up for immediate redressing

Maintains systematic records of Customer Relations Management as per company standards, reporting and acting on client & customer exceptions, opportunities, risks, and contingencies as per policy and guidelines

Protects Organization by keeping information confidential


Works closely with Business development team to support programs and initiatives with specific focus on adding business value in the long term
