ACCOUNTANT AND FINANCE OFFICER

As the Accountant & Finance Manager, you connect with key business leads/stakeholders and manage various project budgets. You are able to influence our products pricing, analyse costs and essential resources.


You also play a significant role in the company’s financial strategy forecast and prepare sales reports as often as required.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide reliable and valid information for organizing and allocating funds

Oversee capital expenditures in all departments to improve transparency and accountability

Pinpoint assets and respond to risks that might affect the achievement of the organisation’s goals

Provide consulting advice to executives on cost management and the economic implications of the organisation’s business activities

Responsible for ensuring timely payment of bills and loans

Prepare and monitor the organisation’s payroll on our HRMS and use of any other accounting software

Process invoice and prepare balance sheets

Ensure that all transactions are covered by adequate sanctions and do not have any deviations

Maintain confidentiality of information to ensure that top secret ideas are accorded the confidentiality they deserve

Oversee and analyse overall company reports before they are submitted for audit

Check for and report financial irregularities

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

Participate in financial audit

Assist with budget preparation

Contribute to the review and implementation of financial and accounting policies

Perform other tasks as assigned


ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

Possess advanced MS Excel skills

Excellent analytical and numerical skills

Excellent understanding of key accounting concepts

Possess knowledge of necessary computer and accounting software

Familiarity with financial reporting systems and service taxes

Possess an eye for detail

Good professional written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized

Establish strong relationships across departments

Entrepreneurial-minded and comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment while also carrying others along

Strong organizational skills

Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data

LEARNING MANAGER (B2B PRODUCT)

The Product Manager is responsible for providing vision, execution and analysis necessary to provide solutions to the delight of our clients. You actively participate in product cycle activities from product development to sales.


In this function, you lead a cross-functional team to envision, build, and deliver customer experiences. You must be able to transform quantitative and qualitative data from our clients into insights and strategy to drive product development priorities; transform those strategies into technical requirements, and work closely with development team to deliver an excellent product.


The general goal of the function is to utilize the over-arching view of the company business strategy in the attainment of product development, course content conversion and eventually sales objectives.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Guide a team that is charged with a product line contribution as a business unit, from increasing the profitability of the product to developing new features

Use your domain knowledge in Learning to influence quality product development

Lead all course content conversion activities and explore innovative ways of content delivery

Build product/features on existing company vision and essence, and help develop ideas based on your industry experience, research and feedback (internal/external)

Serve as the internal and external “owner” for your product offering, working with the sales/support and key customers

Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities

Utilize data, quantitative and qualitative- to understand customer needs and behaviours as well as business objectives, and transform that knowledge into software enhancement and new features

Continual assessment of market competitor(s) and industry development

Analyse potential partner relationships for the product

Analyse, identify and quantify opportunities for new markets, new product features and new product ideas

Collaborate on product definition and product roadmaps

Conduct financial analysis – forecasting, tracking, analysis and reporting on the product – ensuring that product meets business needs in terms of revenue contribution

Gain and maintain expertise in the product, market and business trends

Collaborate to develop marketing communication materials to support the product

Provide product communication to customers, senior management, internal groups, internal departments and at industry events

Obtain product market share by working with Sales Operations to develop product sales strategies

Maintain product management staff (as team expands) by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

Maintain product management team job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

A bachelor or master’s degree in business, technical, education, or other related fields; or an equivalent relevant professional qualification, training and/or experience in online learning
