  • Mission Enablers Africa, a non-profit organisation set up to provide support to mission agencies and mission activities in different parts of Nigeria and Africa, is currently looking for a creative and innovative Communications Executive to manage all its communication.

    Location: Lekki, Lagos 


    Responsibilities



    • Communicate all the activities of the missionaries through the various social media platforms

    • Frequently update the profiles of Mission Enablers Africa with details, facts and figures relating to mission work and advancing the Christian faith.

    • Generate interest and evoke resonance in the work through highly interactive social media platforms

    • Promote any initiative/ special event organised by MEA

    • Generate a source of volunteers via highly interactive social media campaigns and web presence

    • Develop relatable and catchy messaging for the various phases of MEA projects


    Qualifications and skills needed



    • Prior communications/writing experience — if possible, in a small business environment/ non-profit organisation

    • Strong communication and writing skills

    • Strong knowledge of various media channels, most especially social media

    • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices

    • Understanding of Search Engine Optimisation, SEO, and web traffic metrics

    • Good understanding of social media KPIs

    • Great interpersonal skills

    • Knowledge of the non-profit sector and volunteer management

    • Highly adaptable with an ability to think on your feet
