Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide analytics support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation


• Support business units and departments with insights on past and current business trends, and design and deploy dashboards when necessary


• Proactively identify opportunities for growth, and present implications and business requirements to relevant stakeholders across departments


• Identify and implement opportunities for process and task automation to improve productivity


• Deploy and independently-run projects to achieve positive business outcomes (e.g. increase volume from new or existing revenue streams, maximize profits etc.)

Skills

• 2-3 years proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst


• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)


• Strong knowledge of and experience with business intelligence and reporting packages (Tableau, Google Analytics, Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), basic programming knowledge (XML, JavaScript, Python or ETL frameworks)


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy


• Strong domain knowledge and stakeholders management


• Entrepreneurial spirit (e.g. enthusiasm, commitment, self-driven, and business savvy)
