Job Objective:
Working with a team tasked with generating and managing business for the organization in the Downstream and Midstream sectors with a core focus on sub-Saharan Africa in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Reports to: MD/CEO through the Business Development Manager
Summary
We are an emerging independent and diversified Energy Company with business operations in the downstream and midstream sectors with a core focus on sub Saharan Africa.
We seek a business development personnel experienced in the following key roles and responsibilities:
- Ensuring company’s growth objectives are attained; articulating new business development opportunities and identifying, negotiating and managing relationships with technical partners in line with corporate goals.
- Building and maintaining relationships at IOCs & NOC level, NAPIMS and NNPC with all qualified opportunities
- Identify prospects and develop sales strategies to penetrate and get new accounts. This includes preparation of presentations and tenders.
- Identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities and feasibility reports supporting growth based on intelligence.
- Support market implementation and penetration towards enhancing business growth.
- Assist in the preparation of bids/proposals.
- Managing a sales pipeline to ensure projected revenue targets are achieved
- Reporting on sales activity and sales pipelines using CRM and other systems
- Working closely with operations, trades, and other colleagues across the group to ensure solutions proffered to clients are workable
- Pitching products and services
- Originating, managing and closing enterprise-level solutions focused deals
- Seeking new sales prospects through your own initiative, networking, referrals and partnership relationships
- Preparing and conducting sales presentations
- Researching the needs of relevant companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
- Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events amongst others.
- He/she will play an essential role in ensuring the generation and retention of new customers by developing commercially focused business relationships with them with ambitions to expand or the necessity to diversify its clientele.
Qualification:
Good first degree from a reputable university and preferably a Masters degree
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years cognate experience in the Nigerian Oil & Gas upstream space with interactions with IOC’S & NOC’s.
- In-depth knowledge of up-coming and on-going key projects in the Downstream, Mid and Upstream sector of the Oil and Gas Sector.
- An eye for fashioning out business opportunities and supporting business growth.
- A good Ambassador

- Strong communication and IT fluency
- Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
- In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
- The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
