Functional Test Requirements

• Ability to write a well-documented test plan for projects


• Write test cases/test scenarios including negative test cases to validate the functionality of software applications


• Understanding of software test requirements/test data


• Knowledge of test management tools for test execution e.g. Azure Devops


• API testing, both manual and automation using Postman


• Knowledge of defect/bug life cycle through the project from start to finish


• Knowledge of database management tools e.g Microsoft SQL for backend validation


• Experience with working in an agile/scrum environment


• Knowledge of J-meter tool for both stress and load testing


• Knowledge of security testing tools for vulnerability scanning, as well as risk management

Test Automation Requirements

• Experience in mobile test automation using Appium framework for both native, hybrid and mobile web applications


• Experience using flutter driver framework for the automation of flutter mobile applications


• Experience in building test automation framework for web application using selenium webdriver, TestNG and Cucumber BDD


• Knowledge of API performance test automation

Job Summary

Our client, a web hosting company is looking to hire a Technical Manager for their hosting business. This is a full-time mini-C.T. O position. It is open to a dedicated, self-motivated and knowledgeable individual in the hosting industry exuding both technical and leadership skills.

Job Description:

• Maintaining and improving the current hosting environment


• Researching competitive product offerings and recommending changes to existing products or new additions.


• Provide prompt support via tickets or live chat.


• Troubleshooting a variety of technical and non-technical issues customers are having with their web hosting plans and services.


• Setup and deployment of new hosting servers.


• Monitoring the health of the entire hosting environment.


• Assisting in maintaining internal corporate systems including corporate email, messaging, websites, SQL Servers, and call center phone system


• Work together with the Business Manager to make the company the foremost web hosting company in Nigeria


• Provide strategic guidance of all technology and engineering-related decisions, including product road-map, to maximize the company’s future growth and profitability


• Understand customer needs and pain points, industry trends, and establish and communicate plans to address these


• Regular direct reporting to executives weekly


• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient using cPanel, WHM, FTP, domain and email management and other hosting related tasks.


• Knowledge in AWS and API Technologies


• Excellent understanding of DNS, SMTP, IMAP, POP, and HTML


• Ability to write and debug PHP, Perl, ASP, Powershell, and SQL


• Excellent written communication skills in English.


• Outstanding customer service skills in any situation.


• Ability to troubleshoot a variety of hosting issues.


• Experience with documenting procedures.


• Experience with Agile methodologies will be a plus


• Ideally, a minimum of 3yrs experience with hosting support or management
