We’re in need of a skilled Frontend Developer proficient in building web applications with Vue.js. The ideal candidate can work with a remote team of developers, designers, and copywriters on a web app for our platform. The ideal candidate is high-spirited, has a top-notch work ethic, can work efficiently with a remote team in meeting goals and deadlines, among other skills. 

As part of the team, you’ll be working with other developers on the web application for our platform. You’ll also be helping graphic designers and UX copywriters provide a smooth and satisfying experience for our users. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determining the structure and design of web pages.


• Ensuring user experience determines design choices.


• Developing features to enhance the user experience.


• Building reusable code for future use.


• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.


• Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.


• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.


• Continually learn and share new knowledge and resources with the broader team


• Participate in internal hackathons to develop proof of concepts and prototypes


• Organize work efforts, and identify necessary project time & other required resources to deliver projects on time and on budget


• Champion and take ownership of tasks individually while connecting with the Development team to share progress and receive feedback

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to convert UI wireframes into UI components with HTML/CSS


• Strong Vue.js skills. 


• Ability to work with Nuxt and Quasar


• Ability to consume our existing GraphQL API (experience with Apollo client)


• Must be able to maintain frequent and open communication with other team members

EDUCATION:

This role does not require any specific formal education or certification. Apply if you have the skills needed.
