Requirements
A degree in Quantity Surveying, plus relevant industry experience, have a methodical commercial mind-set and experience of completing cost plans/forecasts, interim valuations and final accounts on responsive and cyclical maintenance projects, refurbishment projects and new building schemes.
Experience in contracts, analysing loss and expense claims and extension of time claims, an analytical approach to problem solving, together with sound knowledge of construction is required.
You will also have good interpersonal skills having the ability to communicate commercial/financial information to non-commercial colleagues.
Office software skills are essential, along with the ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
