How to Prepare Credit Manager Resume


A resume is a document that contains the summary of education and experience of a prospective candidate. It gives a brief introduction of the individual to the employer. It is also called CV or Curriculum Vitae. It is the first thing that an employer encounters regarding the job seeker.


An employer may have several hundred applications for a single job so they will only choose those people who appear suitable for interview. The chief intention of your CV is to make you attractive, interesting, worth considering to the company so that you receive a job interview call. The way you write your CV discriminate you from rest of the candidates.


Writing a good resume is very important for getting a decent job. In this article, I will share my knowledge with you on how to prepare a good Credit Manger resume.


1. Elaborate your work experience


Your experience matters a lot to the employer. The employer will certainly choose a person who is highly experienced. Just state your job specific work experience. For example you can write that I have 5 years experience in this field. I have provided guidance to the employees in collection and credit activities and handled minimal sales while controlling bad debts, DSO, credit policy, cash flow and department costs.


2. Mention your technical and non-technical skills related to this job


Remember an employer is looking for a person who is extremely skillful. Again, state those technical skills that are related to this profession. Like you can write that, I am efficient in resourcing, establishing a powerful rapport and collecting the information. I have the ability to handle and evaluate the conspicuous information independently. I can easily prepare accurate records and files. Apart from this, tell the employer that you have excellent ability to work in team and individual work environment. I can easily motivate and guide employees under me. I have natural communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.


3. Try to frame a CV that is simple, short and precise


Your resume should be easy for reader to comprehend. A fine resume should not exceed more than 3 pages.


4. Use correct grammar


You must be very careful while writing Curriculum Vitae. Just one silly mistake can stand out and cost you the job. I will advice you to use a spell check option after writing this document.


5. Your resume must be properly typed and well spaced.
