Marketing & Sales Associate OWA



 



Description :    



Position Purpose:



To ensure stewardship of brand equity within JTI portfolio, assist in the branding and visibility of JTI products at all trade channels in line with company strategy and plans, assist on new product launches, product / packaging development and amendments, the periodic reporting of regular reports such as Monthly Market report, Marketing activity report, retail audit reports, Marketing spent phasing, and other types of reports as and when needed.



Demand planning:
Assist the Marketing & Sales Manager OWA in – sales forecast in collaboration with Management for all listed brands – monitor order quantity to Distributors – follow up on placing orders being responsible for the shipments and relevant documentation – maintains orders tracking sheet & monitor stock inventory levels by keeping a close tab on overstock or low stock situations ensuring that stock levels are maintained at all times- Monthly forecast update on the web tool in-line-with AP/LE- responsibility in accordance to Company policies & procedures at all times



Reporting:
Responsible for the various periodic reports – monthly market report / Marketing report NPD (New Product development) and update of specific documents (brand boards) Responsible for the various retail audit reporting to sub-region and HQ and systematic tracking



Brand Marketing:
Coordinates with the Marketing & Sales Manager OWA for the planning, development and implementation of Brand marketing plans, ensuring they are in line with Brand guidelines and HQ directives and liaises Market inquiries and request in this respect with relevant HQ divisions (Brand groups / R&D)



Customer interface:
Assist the Marketing & Sales Manager OWA in driving direct customer interface activities and trade relationship management, key account plan implementation and compliance Assist in ensuring continuous follow-up and sound analysis of brand performance, consumer trends, competitive and trade data through field visits, retail audits and quantitative research.



Documentation:
Responsible for the initiation and follow-up of documentation related to new product launches and product amendments.



Market Monitoring:
Monitors constantly at sub-region level competitive activities aimed at the consumer or the trade in order to highlight competitive strategies and communicates this information to Marketing & Sales Manager OWA.



Ad-hoc:
Performs any other tasks given by the direct manager.

Qualifications :    





• University degree or equivalent
• 2-3 Years experience in sales, marketing or administation.
• Excellent knowledge of English language.
• Knowledge of French Language is a plus.
• Computer Literate (MS Office) & SAP knowledge



Marketing Associate



 



Description :    



Position Purpose:



Incumbent will work closely with Marketing Manager for the stewardship of brand equity within JTI portfolio and he will support on the implementation of all Ad Hoc Marketing initiatives in Nigeria. He/She will assist on new product launches, product / packaging development and amendments, and will also support on implementation of BTL programs on adhoc basis.Incumbent will be entrusted with the periodic reporting of regular reports such as Monthly Market report, Marketing activity report, retail audit reports, Marketing spent phasing, NPD report and other types of reports as and when needed.



Documentation:
Responsible for the initiation and follow-up of documentation related to new product launches and product amendments. In this respect, incumbent will initiate and follow-up on AA4/AA5 and other required JTI operating guidelines



Reporting:

• Previous knowledge in Brand Management, Strategy Consulting and French Language is a plus.
