FOOD AND BEVERAGES MANAGER


JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Buying and sourcing of produce and arranging logistics

Negotiating prices and trading terms with farmers/suppliers

Importing fresh produce (via sea/air freight)

Costing of the produce and setting of selling prices

Products management, including ensuring high quality

Driving sales through Shoprite and wholesales

Regular farm/opposition and market visits


REQUIREMENTS

Essential to fulfilling this role is a relevant University Degree and previous trading experience, as well as;

Computer literacy, good English communication and interpersonal skills at staff, management ans supplier level.

Knowledge of fruit and vegetables and management experience in a pack house environment will be advantageous.

The Chief Accountant will report to the General Manager

The successful candidate will be accountable for: Branch financial reporting, Administrative procedures Management information and Internal control


REQUIREMENTS

Candidate should possess a Commercial Degree with Financial Accounting as a major subject

Successful completed articles and/or commercial experience in a financial management positions and experience in cross border transactions may be advantageous

A high Degree of all-round computer literacy is required

Good interpersonal skills at management and staff level

Must have at least 2 years work experience.
