FASHION ASSISTANT CREATIVE DIRECTOR


Reports to: Managing Director


JOB OBJECTIVE

The role is responsible for translating marketing ideas into creative content for ATL /BTL (Social media and digital) platforms to meet corporate goals in terms of sales, business initiation and communication. The Creative Director is responsible for the development and evolution of imagery and content of the company across all sites.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Styling/Merchandising:

Come up with matching stories for clothing and accessories.

Draft Style sheets, Picture gram, Planogram, Mood boards for all merchandise received.

Match clothing and accessories, take pictures and upload on to our online portals

Coordinate photo shoot sessions and birth new ideas for branding purposes

Send matching stories to stores

Research and implement trends to aid increase in sales

Come up with weekly and monthly themes for our stores

Brand Graphic Designs:


Manage the design and layout of all in-store marketing printed materials including window display element, large format elements, flyers and signage.

Conceptualize all in-store marketing communication, interior graphics, seasonal events, exhibitions and other internal and external material.

Partner with Brands and Marketing to fulfill all project requisition in a timely manner

Sets and drive creative direction and execution resulting in fun fresh and different images will on-brand consistency and high level of quality.

Lead and facilitate and actively participate in creative group strategy and concept meeting.

Merchandise Allocation:  Ensure the creation and continuous updating store MAP (Merchandise Allocation Plan)


Inventory allocation and distribution

Responsible for inventory allocation and replenishment on a weekly basis

Assist in transfer of seasonal product on a timely basis

Responsible for communication with store managers on inventory related questions

Work with coordinating LND as needed to maintain product flow.

Personal & Staff:


Continuously self – development

Develop individual and Company initiatives and motivate and direct team to meet the organizations goals

Develop, train and mentor a multi-disciplined core team in all aspect of design

Coach and develop team on skills, knowledge and new technological improvements

Evaluate the performance (appraisal) and handle minor disciplinary issues in the department

Reporting:


Weekly report of all Marketing activities

Assess proposals and advise on steps to be taken

Report on all completed projects

Other duties assigned by management


QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

First Degree in Graphics Design or Any Art related course and a master’s degree and professional certifications are added advantage

At least 4 years’ experience in similar role amongst which should be in a fashion retail store

Working knowledge of fashion retail industry is critical

Knowledge and use of graphic design suites would be an advantage

Knowledge of retail merchandising and visual merchandising

Knowledge and interest in photography

Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

WAREHOUSE OFFICER


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans; contribute to improving customer-service standards and identifying warehouse system improvements.

Meet warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions.

Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.

Maintains storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, recommending improvements

Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, inputting data

Secures warehouse by turning alarms on and testing systems

Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Assign employees to specific duties.

Examine merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed and it functions as advertised

Enforce safety, health, and security rules

Inventory stock and reorder when inventory drops to a specified level

Review inventory and liaise with Store Manager to prepare reports for management and budget departments

STORE SUPERVISOR


SALES LEADERSHIP

Partners with management to set sales goals and targets. Ensures team understands connection between store financial success and bonus programs.

Leads, promotes and coaches selling and cultivates an inspired selling culture with associates.

Maximizes sales opportunities by leveraging the sales capabilities of associates by using current selling techniques and company programs

Accountable for the prevention and resolution of customer issues by ensuring a high level of customer service is provided by associates

GENERAL LEADERSHIP

Accountable for services operations and takes on additional responsibilities in the absence of manager

Participates in the recruitment, hiring and onboarding processes for the services departments

Accountable for training and coaching operatives in all aspects of services and customer engagement

Partners with management to execute Performance Development Reviews (PDR’s) in a timely manner, ensures action plans are in place and follows up on development of operatives.

Achieves Customers goals and objectives by effectively managing and directing retail personnel, conducting store audits and effectively executing all retail projects

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION

Responsible for counting the safe, preparing and making daily bank deposits, completing, paperwork and keypunching cashier totals on a daily basis.

Maintains and sustains an efficient filing system for all relevant paperwork in line with company standards.

Accountable to maintain the day to day operation of the Cash on Delivery (C.O.D) process including reporting, transactions, payments and collections as per company policy

Facilitates the front office till procedures per policy

Monitors adequate inventory levels and places orders for all register and related supplies

Tracks all cash over/shorts, communicate results to management and follows up with associates


LOSS PREVENTION / PRIVACY

Follows proper store opening and closing procedures, including alarm checks and security walks

Proactively models and ensures team’s understanding of and adherence to all privacy policies and procedures

Models and ensures team properly secures company assets and physical inventory and follows all loss prevention and key control procedures

As per policy, required to have personal parcels (bags, totes, backpacks, purses, etc.) checked by a manager prior to leaving the store premises. As a key holder, this position is required to verify bag checks.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING INTERN


JOB OBJECTIVE:

The Social Media Intern is responsible for coordinating and executing the company’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. This role offers the intern an opportunity to work closely with key members of staff, and clients. This role will be instrumental in increasing our social media presence and gaining visibility for our brand among clients.


JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT

Assist with streamlining company social media accounts (e.g. Facebook, Twitter,

LinkedIn, YouTube, Flicker, and other social media platforms), ensuring uniform content

Increase the number of followers and likes on company social media accounts

Customer engagement on company social media accounts

Posting update of company social media accounts

Use LinkedIn polls and surveys to build our social media footprint and reputation

Liaising with staff internally to ensure that their company profiles are accurate and up-to date

Work with line-manager to implement other channel-specific campaigns (e.g. uploading photos to Flickr, videos to YouTube, etc.)

2) COORDINATING AND DISTRIBUTING CONTENT


Scheduling and coordinating a monthly brainstorming meeting and social media, editorial, marketing and blogging calendar.

Drive awareness of new blog posts by posting the articles into forums and groups

Set up and manage a company Instagram and Flickr account and post interesting photos

Upload and manage company blog posts in WordPress (initially under supervision).

Repurpose content from other sources for own social media channels (and understand how to change the tone of the content for each channel)

3) UNDERSTANDING AND MONITORING SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYTICS


Track key social media analytics on a monthly basis, including Google Analytics, Bitly, statistics, LinkedIn company stats, etc.

Track and report website statistics using Google Analytics

Use Google Reader to follow the blogs and content of our competitors and key clients

Use the company’s HootSuite account to create lists of followers and to schedule tweets so that they are continuously pushed out

4) EMAIL MARKETING AND SEO


Work with each team to create and send one email broadcast per month

Research free online directories to generate inbound links for SEO

Using Google, search on key words and look at our competitors’ brands for forums and directories that can generate in-bound links for company.


Qualification, Minimum Experience and Role Requirement:

Minimum of First degree from a recognized institution

Proven written communication skills, and a passion for writing both short- and long-copy

JOB OBJECTIVE:

This intern will be involved in retail Store Management which includes merchandising, supply chain, inventory flow, compliance, safety, and more. Interns will have real-life responsibilities, assisting in the operations of the store, and will be expected to perform customer service duties by identifying customer needs, assist with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve customer issues and promoting products and services, while maintaining a safe shopping environment.

Store Operative Job Description:

Answer the telephone in a pleasant and caring way

Participate in counting store’s physical inventory

React to all concerns of customers quickly with a sense of importance

Maintain cleanliness of store

Dispose of cardboard waste and trash

Handle cash, change and operate the cash register
