Gavaar Solutions Limited, is a Technology, Media and Marketing firm based in Lagos Nigeria, and we are looking to immediately employ the services of:


MOBILE AND DESKTOP APPLICATION DEVELOPER


JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience in using a popular PHP backend web framework () and other technologies for mobile development, at least 1-2 native mobile applicationon Google Play and iOS Store, as well as experience in creating & consuming RESTful APIs.

Source control experience is a must Please provide code samples and/or directories to your app(s) in their respective stores, as well as a directory to your Github (if any).


The candidate will be involved in:

Planning and Developing Web Apps

Liaising directly with clients in regards to new projects / existing projects

Estimating and tracking time spent on work

Keeping up-to-date with the latest programming techniques and technologies

Checking the Helpdesk and fixing any issues that may arise

Updating mobile apps / websites with new features


REQUIREMENTS

The candidate should have the following skills:


Ideally 2+ years of professional front end design and development experience

Strong experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery

Strong experience with PHP MVC Frameworks and MySQL

Strong experience with Angular JS, JQuery, Ionic/Phonegap framework, Java

Experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite

Familiar with SEO and social networking sites

Strong organisational and analytical ability

Strong Project Management skills

Experience with Google Analytics

Must have experience with at least one of the following: Laravel 4/5, Symfony, Code Igniter, CakePHP
