An indigenous oil and gas company, is seeking to recruit qualified candidates to fill the following positions below:




Production Operator (Field Base)



Key Job Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the control room equipment, production processes and equipment and ensures that the plant is operating within normal parameters.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all subcontractors are monitored for safe working practices and follows the permit to work system.

  • Responsible for carrying out process isolations as described in the safe working practices and procedures and ensuring that all Company guidelines and regulatory requirements and procedures are strictly adhered to.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all platform consumables and stock items such as chemicals are maintained at optimum levels.

  • Plan and prioritizes work in accordance with Lead Operator’s instructions.

  • Ensure that an accurate and comprehensive production log is maintained.


Desired Skills and Experience


  • Must have very good inter-personal and communication skills.

  • Computer literate in Microsoft suite.

  • Ability to read P&IDs and schematics will be an added advantage.

  • Successful candidate will undergo a twelve month intensive vocational training and additional twelve months on-the-job training.

  • An Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in any of the following Engineering disciplines: I&E, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering. 3-5 years post NYSC relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.


Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Technician (Field Base)



Responsibilities


  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of I&E equipment, production processes and equipment and maintains continuous monitoring to ensure that the plant is operating within normal parameters.

  • Carry out / ensure process isolations as described in the safe working practices and procedures and ensure that all Company guidelines and regulatory requirements and procedures are strictly adhered to.

  • Plan and prioritize work in accordance with Supervisor’s instructions especially those that impact production and other facilities operations.

  • Ensures that an accurate arid comprehensive t&E log is maintained while on duty.

  • I&E Technicians must be able to make safety a core value and have adequate behavioral/communication skills to demonstrate such values.

  • Performs highly skilled instrument and electronic repairs and/or supports others in doing so in a timely manner in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications/normal operating procedures

  • Performs detailed maintenance and calibration of process controls in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications/normal operating procedures without re-work.

  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in programmable logic control and distributive control systems.

  • Understanding and applying Safe Practices in an offshore environment.

  • Maintaining HVAC and refrigeration system.

  • Diagnose and test hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Work on actuators, pumps, solenoids, valves, motors, pulleys.

  • Work on sensors, plc modules, electrical and hydraulic relays and other controls.


Qualifications


  • Must have very good inter-personal and communication skills.

Health Environment and Safety Engineer



Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:


  • Advise on safety and industrial regulatory requirements and best practices.

  • Work with regulatory agencies to obtain permits.

  • Develop environmental procedures and guidelines.

  • Provide support to offshore operations on safety which includes trips to the rig site as appropriate.

  • Responsible for preparing daily, weekly and monthly HSE QA/QC reports, monthly safety meetings.

  • Investigating injury damage and near miss, accidents independent of subcontractors, vendors or jointly with them.


Desired Skills and Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Sciences.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years post NYSC relevant experience in deepwater operations.

  • Good Communication, Documentation & Mentoring Skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • High degree of computer literacy (Microsoft suite).

  • Possession of BOSIET will be an added advantage.


Mechanical Technician (Field Base)



Job Description


  • Assist with maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment in the Plant area to which assigned.

  • Assist with maintenance records, technical reports and interpreting technical drawings and manuals.

  • Participate in the planning and implementation of routine, preventive and planned maintenance programs.

  • Participate in a variety of maintenance, overhaul and repair of mechanical equipment in assigned area.

  • Understanding and applying Safe Practices in an offshore environment.

  • Participate in the inspection and testing of completed work.

  • Assist with carrying out a variety of regular routine, major and auxiliary machine vibration monitoring checks and analysis.

  • Assist with ensuring that company regulations relating to safety and work permits are observed.

  • Perform other similar or related duties as assigned.

Deepwater Drilling Engineer



Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:


  • Prepare deepwater drilling programs and procedures through all phases of the project.

  • Prepare cost estimates for wells.

  • Responsible for the preparation and execution of well written, risk- assessed/mitigated detailed procedures.

  • Work in a team to support the business in all aspects of drilling engineering including well reviews and field operations performance.

  • Able to manage and coordinate, with a dynamic rig schedule in a challenging remote location, ordering, delivery, and QA/QC of equipment and operational activities of many service partners in support of complex completion, workover and intervention operations.

  • Manage logistics and reporting of operations.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years post NYSC relevant experience in deepwater, well drilling projects and operations.

  • Good Communication, Documentation & Mentoring Skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Possession of BOSIET will be an added advantage.
