Job Description


  • Working closely with COMPANY’s SITE Head of Maintenance and Inspection, he :

  • Ensures that CONTRACTOR’s Personnel plan Maintenance operations (routine and short-term)

  • Advises COMPANY’s superintendent on Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Annual Maintenance planning,

  • Anticipates, plans and requests the logistical means necessary for smooth maintenance operations, taking the various constraints into account when planning and carrying out operations takes part in different daily, weekly and site coordination meetings

  • Ensures the Preparation and quality of CONTRACTOR Maintenance reports for submission to COMPANY,

  • Ensures the organisation and movement of spare parts according to the requirements of Maintenance operations.

  • Coordinates all CONTRACTOR’s personnel for the smooth execution of Maintenance Operations, checks and validates the Supervisors’ reports in the CMIMS as well as all technical reports

  • Informs the persons concerned, by appropriate reporting, on the progress of maintenance operations and, if necessary, of difficulties encountered.

  • Ensures CONTRACTOR’s Personnel complete and record all handovers. (daily, weekly and rotation).


Methods


  • Ensures the appropriateness of the operating and maintenance procedures employed by his crews and, if necessary, suggests improvements to COMPANY’s Site Head of Maintenance and Inspection.

Requirements

Academic and OJT E&I Trainer



 



Job Description
To conduct theoretical and OJT programmes for experienced and junior electrical & instruments technicians


  • Develop and prepare all course teaching materials and visual aids. This will also include any course reference materials and/or student workbooks. Maintain electronic and hard copy of all individual training records and to provide accurate reports as and when required. :

  • To provide the client with detailed student progress reports containing the assessment, level of competence, attendance and behaviors of the trainees.

  • Liaise with equipment vendors and any additional specialist instrumentation suppliers to ensure that teaching materials support the knowledge required for a trainee to develop satisfactory workplace competence.

  • To conduct instrument and control overview training program for production personnel and others requiring a basic presentation on the plants operational control features.

  • To design appropriate courses for the trainees and to schedule their release to the operational plant to enable them to quickly develop and utilize their new skills on the job.

  • To conduct refresher training courses and additional remedial program if requested.


Knowledge and Experience


  • Degree in the field of electrical engineering or industrial technical diploma in the field of electrical engineering.

  • A minimum of ten (10) years experience in executing electrical training courses for the energy sector.

  • Excellent knowledge of modern electrical equipment.

  • Comprehensive experience with the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of a wide range of modern electrical systems.

FPSO Onshore Senior Method/Planning Engineer



 



Job Description     
Operations:


  • Prepares onshore the CMIMS maintenance and inspection medium term and longer term planning,

  • Plans maintenance operations (routine and short-term)

  • Maintains the CMIMS database with COMPANY validation.

  • Ensures discipline workloads are balanced over the year,

  • Provides direct input into COMPANY longer term planning for Maintenance activities.

  • Provides direct support and coordination of Preventative Maintenance and Inspection activity with the Offshore Methods team and specifically the Offshore Planning Engineer.

  • Assists the Methods team onshore with the Coordination and expediting of all equipment repairs.

  • Coordinates the control and update of CMIMS master-data with COMPANY validation and assists the offshore Methods team and Offshore Planning Engineer with this activity,

  • Actions ad-hoc reports from CMIMS as required by COMPANY,

  • Monitors historical maintenance and inspection data quality and advises COMPANY of any anomalies.

  • Keeps track of any backlog of work and suggests corrective measures to the Onshore COMPANY methods Engineers if this backlog threatens to become unmanageable,

  • Develops and provides all medium and longer term planning for the FPSO activities.

  • Coaches and ensures that the onshore Methods Technicians have the correct CMIMS skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if need be, suggests corrective measures to COMPANY.

  • Ensures all Work Orders and Notifications in CMIMS are tracked accurately and COMPANY requirements for CMIMS control followed.

  • Ensures that all CMIMS reports and Maintenance and Inspection performance reports are accurate.


Requirements    


  • Chartered Engineer (A-levels + 5 years’ study) or Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND/HNC (Alevels + 3 years’ study) or BTS/DUT or equivalent


The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:


  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in the Planning of maintenance activities on oil and gas production installations

  • A high level knowledge of CMIMS (UNISUP) or Similar SAP packages.

Job DescriptionsOperation:


  • Organises and performs on site the maintenance Operations which are placed under his responsibility.

  • Assists the Planning Engineer with the resourcing and suitable planning input to ensure a quality preparation and execution of all ICSS and Systems works.

  • Assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),

  • Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work

  • Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during preparation and performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,

  • Ensures that all maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment are carried out in a safe maner and in strict compliance with COMPANY operating procedures and any statutory legislation in order to maintain all such equipment in safe and sound operating condition.

  • Manages interventions using the CMIMS and work packs provided by the planning team,

  • Enters all intervention reports in the CMIMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the detailed technical reports related to his field,

  • Monitors (and in certain plant – Operates) the functioning of any equipment placed under his responsibility, Performs trouble shooting in the ICSS, PLC, etc.

Job Description
Operations:


  • Prepares with COMPANY Process Engineer, COMPANY ICSS Specialist Engineer (Onshore) and SMC Vendors, corrective actions and modifications of the ICSS system.

  • Assists the Planning Engineer with the resourcing and suitable planning input to ensure a quality preparation and execution of all ICSS and System works.

  • With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),

  • Ensures that COMPANY’s HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to Work Permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during preparation and performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility,

  • Manages interventions using the CMIMS and work packs provided by the planning team,

  • Reviews all intervention reports in the CMIMS (including those concerning SMC) and writes the detailed technical reports related to his field,

  • Monitors (and in certain plant – Operates) the functioning of any equipment placed under his responsibility,

  • Performs trouble shooting in the ICSS, PLC, etc.

  • Follows up the Parameter values and alarms in the concerned systems for condition monitoring purposes,

  • Controls and applies inhibits in the systems as directed and controlled by COMPANY rules and procedures.

  • Maintains an accurate and auditable log of all system faults and inhibits (Short term and long term)

  • Takes part in daily, weekly and coordination meetings on SITE,

  • Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within his teams and actively participates in this himself, leading others by his example,

  • Manages and Coaches/Mentors the ICSS/PLC technician directly under his responsibility,

  • Carries out, at CONTRACTOR’s site representative’s request and COMPANY Validation, any intervention within his field of competence.

  • Identifies, in the preparatory stage of maintenance works, any delicate operations and ensures that proper studies of the risks involved are carried out beforehand,

  • To conduct theoretical and OJT programmes for experienced and junior mechanical technicians


Responsibilities


  • Develop and prepare all course teaching materials and visual aids. This will also include any course reference materials and/or student workbooks. Maintain electronic and hard copy of all individual training records and to provide accurate reports as and when required. :

  • To provide the client with detailed student progress reports containing the assessment, level of competence, attendance and behaviors of the trainees.
