Health Communication Capactiy Collaborative HC3 is funded by PMI and works to improve the capacity of NMEP ACSM to provide effective leadership and coordination of malaria SBCC programmes and services; and to also implement high quality, evidence based SBCC interventions in select states towards the achievement of Nigeria’s strategic targets in Malaria.
Job Title: Senior Technical Advisor – Communication
Job Description
The Senior Technical Advisor Communication will work closely with program staff in Nigeria and staff at CCP headquarters to lead media and materials development, adaptation and implementation activities for the USAID HC3 Nigeria Malaria Project funded by PMl.
Specifically, Senior Technical Advisor Communication will:
1) Help shape the HC3 strategy for the most effective SBCC applications in Nigeria
2) Coordinate and oversee the production of mass media, print and other project communication materials in tandem with staff and partners with a special focus on northern Nigeria
3) Coordinate and oversee media planning, broadcasting and materials distribution in tandem with staff and partners.
4) Refine in collaboration with a team a tracking system for media products and activities.
5) Develop micro work plans for state level adaptation of key media materials, especially in northern Nigeria
6) Present media and materials development and process during meetings, conferences and workshops, as appropriate.
7) Build media and materials capacity of staff and partners
8) Other duties as identified by supervisor.
