Job Title: Sales Executive/Trainee
Location:

Job Description


  • Prospecting clients this can involve cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;

  • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;

  • Organizing sales visits

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;

  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;

  • Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer;

  • Liaising with operations to check the progress of existing Client’s orders and requests;

  • Reviewing sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;

  • Feeding future buying trends back to employers;

  • Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.

  • Introducing new services and products

  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements;

  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries, answering clients ‘queries and offering advice.

  • Demonstrating/presenting services and products with a view of establishing new businesses

  • Maintaining accurate records by gathering market and customer information

  • Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings events and demonstrations to represent the company.

  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale. Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.

  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers;

  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales contracts

  • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Education


  • HND/ Bachelor Degree, preferably in the Humanities or Social Sciences

Experience Required:


  • Minimum 1 – 3 years experience (post NYSC) working experience.

  • At least 1- 2 years in sales or marketing and customer service or related field.

Job Title: Senior Sales Executive/Manager

Job Description


  • Enhances staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.

  • Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.

  • Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions – prospecting clients this can involve cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business;

  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.

  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale. Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.

  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers;

  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales contracts

Requirements


  • HND/ Bachelor Degree, preferably in the Humanities or Social Sciences.

  • MBA/Master’s Degree is an added advantage.

  • Minimum 4 – 7 years’ experience (post NYSC) working experience.

  • At least 3 – 5 years in sales or marketing and customer service or related field.
