LOGISTICIAN
LOCATION; Damaturu
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides support in the areas of Supply Chain, Purchasing, Transport, Warehousing, Stock management and Fleet to Damaturu Office/Mubi office
Handles logistical files independently
Implements and runs logistic procedures
Negotiates contractual matters with external interlocutors
Ensures accurate and timely follow-up and treatment of Requisition Orders (RO) and Purchase Orders (PO) within the Logistic system
Monitors the preparation and sending out of Request for Quotation (RfQ)
Coordinates with Logistics in the country and the suppliers to ensure smooth planning of deliveries, offloading of commodities as well as careful inspection of supplier deliveries in terms of quality and quantity in line with Purchase Orders
Supervises the fleet drivers, arranges work schedule
Ensures transmission of the monthly statistics reports of the Damaturu Office to Log/Maiduguri both electronic and hard copies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
University degree in administration or a relevant field
2 years work experience in a similar field
Good command of written and spoken English and Hausa
Excellent computer skills
Excellent computer skills (Word and Excel), including ICRC standard computer systems
Confirmed capacity to implement general ICRC procedures

PURCHASER
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the procurement of all requested goods and Services for the ICRC Sub Delegation in Maiduguri as well as for the ICRC Office in Damaturu securing the best correlation of quality, price and
delivery time
Acts as a focal point for processing Local Purchase Orders (LPOs)
Ensures all required POs are entered and properly closed in the database Field Supply System (FSS)
Undertakes any needed regularisation/correction in Procurement files. Must ensure that the Request for
Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Tender (RFT) contains all relevant information to enable transparent selection of the best price, terms and conditions
Updates and maintains knowledge about main suppliers; checks the market for potential new suppliers
Liaises with Dispatch and Transport to decide on Transport mode and prioritize dispatch of cargo as well
Follows eventual problems and suggests improvement in any part of the supply chain
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree, Associate Degree or equivalent higher education degree in administration, logistics purchasing or similar field.
Additional vocational training in administration, logistics or purchasing.
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, purchasing, administration or similar position in commercial/Engineering or humanitarian sector.
Advanced conversational and written English and Hausa
PC literate: Microsoft office.

WATER AND HABITAT PURCHASER
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the procurement of all requested Water & Habitat (WatHab) goods and Services for the ICRC
Sub Delegation in Maiduguri as well as for the ICRC Office in Damaturu securing the best correlation of quality, price and delivery time
Undertakes any needed regularisation/correction in Procurement files. Must ensure that the Request for
Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Tender (RFT) contain all relevant information to enable transparent selection of the best price, terms and conditions.
Receives WatHab RFT, ST, PO/contracts from the field and verifies/screen them thoroughly before submitting to the Logistics Delegate for further treatment
Updates and maintains knowledge about main suppliers; checks the market for potential new suppliers together with WatHab
Liaises with Dispatch and Transport to decide on transport mode and prioritize dispatch of cargo as well as with WatHab
Liaises with WatHab for the purchasing forecast
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree, Associate Degree or equivalent higher education degree in administration, logistics, purchasing or similar field.
Additional vocational training in administration, logistics or purchasing.
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, purchasing, administration or similar position in Engineering or humanitarian sector.
Advanced conversational and written English and Hausa.
PC literate: Microsoft office.
Understand well the work and needs of the WatHab department

WATER AND HABITAT ENGINEER
LOCATION Mubi
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the Water and Habitat Delegate in the assessment, design, implementation and monitoring of ICRC
Water & Habitat activities in the area of responsibility
Provides training, support, monitoring of partners (i.e. National Society staff, technical departments of local authorities, contractors) as required
Attends to meetings with other actors involved in the field of Water and if required (coordination, networking).
Ensures follow-up of LOG supply chain (ROs, purchases, contracts, stock management & replenishment, Quality control, etc.).
Establishes a comprehensive technical report on a completed Water and Habitat project
Provides input to operational reports (assessments, Quarterly reports)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree, some college coursework completed, an Associate Degree or equivalent higher education
degree in water supply, sanitation, construction, engineering or any related technical field
Additional vocational training in water supply, sanitation, construction, engineering or any related technical field
4-6 years of experience in water supply, sanitation, construction, engineering or similar technical position
Good command of written and spoken English and Hausa
Expert level in computer skills
Expert level in the use of AutoCAD
Familiarity with the standard norms and rules in construction, local techniques and requirements for construction
Experience in assessing, surveying, calculating and preparing estimates and technical drawings of buildings
