Job Title: Content Manager

Description


  • Medium sized communications agency seeks content manager to service some of its clients digital assets

  • The content manager will responsible for all the content (written and visual) that is published on the platform and social media pages. 

  • The role coordinates with Strategy and Creative to ensure that all the content on the platform adheres to the established content strategy and style guide.

Responsibilities


  • Work with client and strategy team to develop annual content strategy, style guide and master calendar

  • Develop monthly content calendars for the platform

  • Develop monthly briefs for content required for the platform

  • Liaise with writers and illustrators (in house and freelance) to ensure content meets requirements

  • Liaise with global content management team – ensure all necessary processes are adhered to and approvals are obtained before content is published

  • Develop 4 monthly quizzes/polls for the platform

  • Review existing content and identify any improvements or modifications

  • Develop monthly brief for social media campaign and liaise with social media manager and creative team to ensure campaigns are effective

Requirements


  • Must be fluent in English & Hausa (both spoken and written)

  • Strong creative writing skills in English and Hausa

  • Experience with online content management

  • Knowledge of the social issues that affect low income teen and young adult girls

  • Good knowledge of popular culture and online trends

  • Ability to effectively communicate information and report statistics

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, and a proactive approach
