HEAD OF FINANCE
LOCATION: Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria
JOB PURPOSE
The Finance Head will be responsible for managing the financial health also overseeing all financial processes of the schools by producing financial reports, direct investment activities, develop strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals.
Other responsibilities include:
Collating, preparing and interpreting financial statements, business activity reports, forecasts and commentaries
Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
Producing long-term business plans
Supervise employees who do financial reporting and budgeting
Monitor financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met
Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance
Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
Managing budgets
Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs
Developing and managing financial systems/models
Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments
Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
Analyze market trends to maximize profits and find expansion opportunities
Help management make financial decisions
Experience: 5 years or more experience in a financial occupation as a loan officer, accountant, securities sales agent or financial analyst
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or a related field. Master’s degree preferably in accounting, business administration, finance, or economics may serve as an advantage.

PHE TEACHER
LOCATION: Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
JOB PURPOSE
To develop in each child an understanding of the relationship of good body function and exercise; to motivate each child to cultivate physical fitness, hygienic habits, and good social and emotional adjustment; to discover and develop talents of students in physical achievement; to develop strength, skill, agility, poise, and coordination in individual, dual, and team physical activities and sports, in accordance with each child’s ability.
Other responsibilities include:
Teaches knowledge and skills in physical fitness, health education, rhythms and dance, and individual, dual, or team sports, utilizing course of study adopted by the Board of Education and other appropriate learning activities.
Instructs students in citizenship and basic subject matter specified by the State ministry of Education.
Works co-operatively with other teachers in planning a balanced physical education program.
Analyzes, demonstrates, and explains basic skills, knowledge, and strategies of formal sports, games rhythms, and fundamentals of body movement.
Provides individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each child.
May teach Physical Education classes for handicapped pupils, interscholastic athletics, or drill teams.
Provide appropriate safety instruction and make safety checks on equipment and field areas to insure the overall safety of children.
Maintains control of storage and use of school-owned sporting facilities.
Establishes and maintains standards of students behavior needed to provide an orderly, productive environment in the physical education areas.
Evaluates each student’s growth in physical skills, knowledge, and contribution in team sports.
Maintains professional competence through in-service education activities provided by the management
Selects sport uniforms, equipment, and instructional aids during games and maintains required inventory records.
Communicates with parents and school management on students progress.
Identifies students needs and cooperates with other professional staff members in helping students solve health, attitude, and learning problems.
Supervises students in out-of-classroom activities during the assigned work day.
Participates in curriculum and other developmental programs.
Participates in departmental committees and the sponsorship of student activities.
Performs other duties as many, from time to time be assigned by management.
Experience: 2 years and above
QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor’s Degree with major or minor in Physical Education is required. Degree in relevant discipline may serve as an advantage.

OFFICE STAFF
LOCATION: Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria
JOB PURPOSE
To perform a variety of clerical support activities, manage office equipments, prepare reports and be a point of contact for parents/visitors in order to ensure communication channels are effective. Other activities include:
Administration
Provide full administration support for the school and ensure school administration staff are organised, directed, trained, developed and appraised to meet their requirements to support and facilitate the delivery of the curriculum.
Complete procedures for coordination of differing demands and uses of school site and facilities including promoting school facilities.
Update general office procedures to reflect current practice and embrace new technologies.
Organisation
Ensure the effective operation of the school reception/office, so that all visitors, staff and students are greeted in a friendly and appropriate manner, their enquiries are dealt with promptly and they are directed to the appropriate person/location.
Safeguarding – oversee entry/exit procedures to/from the school for all staff, students,, parents, carers and visitors.
Assist the school staff in the organisation of events such as camps, sports days, parents’ evenings, productions etc and to organize associated administration.
Human Resource
Co-ordinate and manage the complete induction process for all new staff to the school and also oversee the administration processes involved when a member of staff leaves
Support the management by liaising with HR in any issues about staffing.
Resources
Operate relevant equipment and computing software e.g. MS Office, Google Docs, Outlook, Explorer, Google Chrome etc.
Safeguard and maintain stationery stock levels for the office and for some other areas of the school such as the photocopier.
Upload documents and photographs to the school website. Work with the website provider and ‘Computing Leader’ to regularly update the website layout. Communicate with people throughout the school in ensuring that the website is kept up to date.
Experience: 1 year and above
