The Diving Worksite Representative Will Have The Following Responsibilities

• Monitoring the contractor to ensure compliance with legislation, the OGP Diving recommended practice and industry best practices. Shall identify any shortfalls to the ASME.

• Recognise that on some vessels monitoring diving activities from dive control provides additional assurance due to hearing both the diver and supervisor. Other vessels will provide this capability in the clients office setup.

• Participation in offshore risk assessments and in the management of change process.

• Provision of ‘in field’ short term planning input within his area of competence.

• Producing a list of ‘lessons learned’ to assist with client learning on project completion.

• Maintenance of list of diving related drills carried out during the project

• Verify through Permit To Work that the diving Contractor has been informed of Concurrent Operations which may affect the diving operation

• Verify That The Emergency Response Plan Includes Arrangements To


recover divers;

evacuate diving vessels; and

evacuate diving vessels during Saturation Diving.


• Verify that diving Contractors carry out the diving operation in accordance with the approved diving operation plan.


The diving worksite representative will be an experienced diving spe…t who has knowledge and experience of the type of diving operation being undertaken and of the type of work being undertaken. They must be thoroughly familiar with current legislation and regulations as well as with best industry practice. They should be familiar with dynamically positioned vessels and their DP control systems, if the operation is being conducted from a support vessel equipped with DP. They should have an appreciation of the basics of ship handling. This is particularly important if there is no company marine representative on board the vessel. They should be familiar with marine processes, lifting operations, rigging and general seamanship. They must be knowledgeable in matters of small boat handling and safety. They should support the ASME client representative with regard to operational decisions.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND

DP: Extensive experience on DP vessels and has attended a DP appreciation course


Diving: 10 – 15 years commercial diver and diving management experience. UK HSE Part 1 or 2 (Surface Supplied or Closed Bell) Diver training certificate, or industry recognized equivalent


Extensive knowledge of working with divers, planning diving operations, working with the appropriate diving tables and treatment tables. Is familiar and experienced in the recognition of and treatment of decompression illness. Thoroughly familiar with IMCA guides, notices etc. Familiar with OGP’s Recommended diving practice document.


Inspection: Has experience of inspection activities

Engineering: General technical background

Oil / Gas Field: Understands and can use correct terminology

Operational Workscope: Understands and can use correct terminology

Seamanship: Can demonstrate a sound knowledge of basic seamanship & small craft handling

LSA: Has received formal training and has experience

H2S: Has received formal training and has experience

HSSE: HSSE & SP CF/ DCAF (Diving)


GENERAL ON-THE-JOB EXPERIENCE.

The diving representative’s skills must be appropriate to the type of diving being undertaken, eg saturation, air, nitrox, one atmosphere diving operations, etc.


It will include familiarity with diving in areas where the following can apply:-

• Fast tidal flows/currents both offshore and inshore & conditions of poor underwater visibility

• Operational limits imposed by safe umbilical excursion limitations at various depths, constraints imposed by split level requirements and requirements to move between different sites and water depths

• Ensuring safe excursion distances from outlets, inlets and vessel thrusters

• Anchor catenaries and safe working proshellximity to such mid-water obstructions

• Working inside anchor catenaries and check list for this type of operation

• Working inside structures and active tending

• Safe use of extended umbilicals and the attendant risks involved, bail-out bottle endurances at various depths; use of re-breather systems and associated dangers

• Safe use of hot and cold cutting techniques and underwater tools and equipment in general

• Recognition of underwater hazards

• Safe underwater rigging and lifting practices

• Safe use of lift bags and lifting devices

• Safe isolation requirements (mechanical and electrical)

• Recognition and treatment of decompression sickness indications

• Decompression scheduling

• Manning and logistical planning associated with the above

• Working off a beach for pipelay operations and inshore/near shore civil engineering type diving operations.

• Dangers of working off a beach and in surf conditions; small craft operations in surf conditions (if appropriate)

• Is aware of inshore diving and the requirements of OGP’s Diving recommended practice document

• Is aware of any higher local standards that may apply

• Is aware of local dangerous marine life and can brief divers accordingly


Language Skills

Good Communication skills in English (both spoken and written)

THE JOB

The appointee will be required to ensure implementation of security strategies which will result in minimal risks to NLNG assets in shipping operations and the port facility


The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

Participate in the formulation, update and implementation of the Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) with the appropriate Ship Security Officers.

Support the PFSO in maintaining continuous ship shore interface and coordinate night sail operations; ensuring the availability of security personnel in line with current security level.

Participate in the development of and Implement access control strategy for the port facility i.e

Loading/passenger jetties, vessels in line with the Port Facility security Plan and ensure the close supervision of the security personnel operation the access control systems.

Act as security advisor to BGT and NSML operations and maintain liaison with NLNG to ensure proper alignment and implementation of security strategies.

Responsible for conducting and updating security risk assessments of all NSML and BGT assets as part of security management system and supervise the operations of the Marine Police and Navy personnel in ensuring that the channel and the jetties’ exclusion zones are maintained for the arrival and departure of vessels at the terminal.

Carry out HSSE Critical Activities as defined in the relevant bowties to ensure the effectiveness of control barriers.

Organize security awareness programs for the Port facility security personnel and support the PFSO in the implementation of the PFSP with appropriate Company Security Officers.

Maintain liaison with the Contracting Government Agency – NIMASA, in ensuring that exchange ofinformation as required under the ISPS Code is implemented and maintain liaison with the local government security agencies (NPF, SSS, NDLEA, Customs, Port Health and Immigration), as well as, security depts. of sister companies in monitoring the general security situation especially as it affects the waterway.


REQUIREMENTS

The Person:

The right candidate should:

Possess a university degree at a minimum of second class upper division

7 years post-graduation experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in required function in a reputable organization preferably an Oil & Gas company.

Valid PFSO certification issued by the Contracting Government Agency – NIMASA

Not be more than 40 years old as at 31st December, 2015.

Job Description


  • Assists the Captain in flying the aircraft, strictly adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.

  • Obtains and reviews all information on the route, weather and aircraft logs. Creates a flight plan which details the altitude for the flight, route to be taken, amount of fuel required etc.

  • Updates the aircrafts logbook and writes reports at the end of each flight, highlighting identified incident(s) or problem (s) with the aircraft.

  • Reacts quickly and appropriately to environmental changes and emergencies.

  • Conducts regular checks on the aircraft s performance, position, weather conditions and air traffic during flight.

  • Maintains constant communication with air traffic control before take-off during flight and upon landing.

  • Complies with rules, regulations and standards of regulatory authorities e.g. FAA, NAHCO, NEMA, FAAN, NCAA etc.

  • Adheres strictly to all health and safety requirements as well as prompt resolution of all reported issues.

  • All other duties as assigned by Chief Pilot.


Requirements



Paper Qualification:


  • Minimum of a first degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft/Aviation Operations or Avionics Engineering


Experience:


  • Minimum of 1,500 hours of flight experience


Must Have (apart from the above):


  • Commercial Pilot s Licence; Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL); instrument rating; G200 type rating.

  • Integrate VAS platforms with MNOs including SMS Gateway, USSDC, SDP, OTA, Billing etc.

  • Ensure 99.999% availability of VAS and IT services and platforms.

  • Carry out acceptance tests for newly deployed Vas platforms and solutions.

  • Have a full understanding of VAS protocols including SMPP, USSDI&II, SIP, HTTP(S), SS7, SIGTRAN, Web services, IP and others (SNMP, ICMP, etc).

  • Integrate the Company’s products/services in the client’s environment.

MANAGER, CORPORATE SECURITY SERVICES (CSS)

TASKS

The Job:

To create a secure working environment with minimal risk to Company’s human and material assets at all company locations and marine assets with a view to minimizing economic losses and business disruption.


Salary Group: 19


The duties will include, but are not limited to the following:


1. Exchange intelligence/information with National and International security agencies, shareholders, Oil & Gas Industry, technical advisors and embassies and ensure proper coordination of activities especially during security emergencies.

2. Oversee the development and maintenance of security strategies, policies and plans in all locations to ensure adequate protection of Company and third party assets including Contractors.

3. Manage security enabling activities, and monitor events and leads to ensure crime prevention.

4. Coordinate the activities of the Joint Industry Security Subcommittee in Bonny (NLNG, SPDC & Mobil), particularly the activities of the Government Security Agencies to achieve a common/unified approach to Security challenges.

5. Oversees marine security activities in NLNG to ensure safety and security in the terminal and channel, give assurance to Fleet Managers, Insurance providers, marine contractors and other stakeholders as well as meet statutory local and international maritime security requirements

6. Carry out HSSE Critical Activities as defined in the relevant bowties to ensure the effectiveness of control barriers

7. Oversee Company security risk management by liaising with internal and external stakeholders and to evolve effective proactive strategies in mitigating various risks to the business and enable top management take informed decisions.

8. Ensuring adequate cover by FG security agencies to enable continuous operation of the Company, interfacing with Naval and JTF Commanders to ensure provision of the required resources by advocating NLNG needs at the highest levels.


REQUIREMENTS

THE PERSON:

The right candidate should:


1. Be a direct staff of NLNG on a minimum of SG 17

2.Have spent at least 3 years on SG17 for a staff on CEP 1 OR 4 years on SG 17 for a staff on CEP 2.

3. Have a minimum average IPF of 1.0 over the past 3 years and a minimum CEP of 2.

4. Have notified his/her Line Manager (with retention of evidence) before applying.

5. Possess a University Degree.

6. Have a minimum of 12 – 15 years post qualification experience, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, in a senior position in the required function in a reputable organization preferably an Oil & Gas company.
