Our Client, a leading EPC company will be in need of qualified professionals responsible for coordinating the development of commercial & supply chain transactions relating to all projects.


PROJECT MANAGER


PURPOSE OF ROLE

The prospective candidate will be responsible for the delivery of the assigned Projects from Inception to Completion with full ownership of activities in Project Sites.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the coordination and implementation of all technical activities on the premises of all assigned projects. Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned engineering work; monitors work for compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices

Ensure the effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all functions and all other project participants.

Responsible and accountable to ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants, and that the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied.

Highly accountable to ensure the avoidance of defects liability on all executed and planned projects by providing strong advisory services and project interventions, for all projects works.

Interacting with Portfolio Project Managers and Constructions Engineers on Project Progress & requirements and Implements all Weekly and Daily activity plans and actioning them in accordance to the global Project Schedules

Supervise and Manage all Sub – Contractors scope of the entire Projects evaluating their performance and ensuring full compliance to quality works according to agreed Terms of Reference.

Works in assistance with the Construction Engineers to carry load testings and Pre – Commissioning evaluations on all assigned projects in areas of signifant expertise


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

B.Sc/HND in Electrical/Civil Engineering

Minimum experience of 7 years’ experience in Project Management of large construction and power projects

Membership of a professional engineering body: COREN, NSE, IEE etc

Experience should include planning, budgeting, executing, monitoring and cash flow management of complex projects

Proficiency in an ERP Solutions and with competencies in Project Management, CAD and Microsoft Office Suite


HEAD, COMMERCIAL


PURPOSE OF ROLE

The prospective candidate will be responsible for coordinating all Project Planning and Design Activities and Functions for achievement of the company’s set objectives; long-term and periodic.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate the Commercial Transactions of the company covering all projects and relating to Projects Tendering, Contracts Claims & Projects Risk Management, Invoicing and Certifications of Project Milestones and, Services and Material Procurement

Having strong focus on the economics and profitability of production or the services rendered by the entire department

Responsible for deploying assigned and co – opted projects within agreed budget and deadlines

Functional in the management of the end – to – end process of entire business unit

Recommend polices and standards that are aimed at ensuring optimal utilization of the company/departmental resources for the overall achievement of the company’s set objectives; long-term and periodic.

Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all purchasing functions and commitments of the company.


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

B.Sc/HND with MBA in Engineering and/or Marketing and/or Law

Minimum of 8 years of Marketing experience with large project experience in Construction, Oil and Power Industries

Must have reputable professional certification in related function and industry

Proficiency in an ERP Solutions

Good Advisory skills on contractual matters and formulating correspondence for civil engineering projects.

Able to use appropriate techniques for recording and documentation of information including registration of interest, preparation of bills of quantities and analysis of tenders


CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER


PURPOSE OF ROLE

The prospective candidate will be responsible for developing strategies that guide the organization in achieving ALL set financial goals.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees all company finance and accounting strategy and consequent activities; including accounting departments, preparing and monitoring of departmental budgets, creating and managing financial reports, tax and audit functions.

Representing the company before Financial, Government and Technical Regulatory Forces, defending company’s objectives and decisions.

Develop with a financial approach mind-set, polices and standards that are aimed at ensuring optimal utilization of the company/departmental resources for the overall achievement of the company’s set objectives; long-term and periodic.

Supervise investment of funds; work with banks and/or investment bankers to raise additional capital as needed by the business

Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies subject to internal guidelines set from time to time by the Management.

To comply with all reporting, accounting and audit requirements imposed by the capital markets or regulatory bodies of capital markets in which the securities of the firm are traded or are about to be traded or otherwise listed.


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS


B.Sc/HND Accounting must be a Chartered with a Master’s in Business Administration.

10+ years as CFO/controller with large project experience in construction and growing business

Proficiency in an ERP Solutions

Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Ability to prepare financial reports, statements, and projections and knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.

Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.


HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT


PURPOSE OF ROLE

The prospective candidate will be responsible for the development of strategies that guide the organization in achieving ALL set Revenue Generating goals that aims at business growth and increasing market share


RESPONSIBILITIES

Ownership of Business Development initiatives and achievement of set Revenue targets of the company

Ownership of the customers/clients’ interface with the company’s services making sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial objectives

Develop with a customer – centric approach mind-set, polices and standards that are aimed at ensuring optimal utilization of the company/departmental resources for the overall achievement of the company’s set objectives; long-term and periodic.

Coordinating an integrated commercial success of the company by the combination of an aggressive Marketing plan and deep commercial strategy that ensures increased profitability, improved brand image and effective consumer satisfaction for a sustainable growth of the company.


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS


B.Sc/HND with MBA in Engineering and/or Marketing and/or Law

Minimum of 10 years of Marketing or Sales experience with large project experience in Construction, Oil and Power Industries

Must have reputable professional certification in related function and industry

Proficiency in an ERP Solutions

Sound working knowledge of the various forms of conditions of contract used for engineering projects.

The ability to analyze data and understand the implication of various options with the use of appropriate techniques

To be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of contract structures and documentation with knowledge of c law in the context of construction.


SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER


PURPOSE OF ROLE

The prospective candidate provides materials, equipment, and supplies by: receiving, warehousing, and distribution of gas products and services across various locations while supervising warehouse officers/store keeping staffs alike


RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees the supply & distribution of products and Liaises with Trading/Purchasing Department to ensure adequate product off-take from Terminals and Gas Producers.

Oversees the supervision of loading at Terminals and Gas Producers and Liaises with the appropriate Federal/State authorities to ensure necessary approvals are secured for product transportation.

Manages and monitors reports comprising of flows to receivables and then to cash as well as ensuring that material requirements of selling to the customers are met.

Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employee and staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

1st degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Transportation or other relevant degree

Professional accreditation (e.g. Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transportation, UK) Preferable

6 – 8 years’ work experience in similar role within a reputable and structured business environment, preferably an Oil & Gas corporation

Experience is deep enough to have provided a deep understanding of business strategy and the inter-linkage with supply chain and logistics.

Excellent reporting skills and knowledge of material management processes involved in LPG business.
