We are recruiting to fill the vacant position below:


Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Oil & Fats
The Job



  • Responsible for a number of Key Distributors (KD) serviced by a team of SDOs in an allocated region.

  • Achieve the sales volumes by category in each of the Key Distributor territories

  • Ensure that the direct to retail (van sales, open market sales) redistribution KPIs are delivered by each sales team within each KD.

  • Responsible for the SOP of each direct to retail team including route plans and correct use of the Sales Automation tool.

  • Ensure effective coverage of the entire area through direct to retail redistribution supported by a network of FMN approved sub-distributors each of whom has a direct to retail capability in their territory of operations.

  • Develop SOPs for processes and train KD’s on process compliance

  • Coach and mentor the SDOs in all aspects of the KD operation such that they each deliver on their monthly/annual KPIs.

  • Lead the creation of Joint Business Plans with each KD to formalize and track the performance against the agreed targets and objectives

  • Develop the SDO team to contribute to the FMN talent bench for future promotion


The person must:



  • Have Sales experience in a blue chip FMCG

  • Have experience in redistribution sales (including route planning) and managing a large Key Distributor

  • Show evidence of a strong coaching and mentoring capability


Qualifications



  • First Degree

  • MBA is an added advantage


Experience:



  • 8years relevant experience

Job Title: Sales Development Officer

The Job


  • Manage the day-to-day interactions with the nominated KD(s) to achieve 100% of the agreed objectives.

  • Achieve a sales volume of at least 100% of the assigned monthly/quarterly/annual sales volume targets in total and by SKU.

  • Manage the retail redistribution team of the KD (Van Sales Reps and Open Market Sales Reps) and ensure that all team members deliver against their monthly KPIs.

  • Coach/mentor the team members through regular field accompaniments.

  • Work with the KD(s) to build a network of sub-distributors/wholesalers to ensure optimum coverage of the assigned territory and that the sales volume opportunity is fully maximized.

  • Monitor competitor activity in the nominated KD areas and report all findings and observations to line manager immediately.

Qualifications


  • First Degree: BA/B.Sc

  • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English Language in not more than 2 sittings.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales in the Nigerian FMCG industry or force

The Person:


  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Good verbal and written communication skill

NATIONAL AGRO MANAGER


THE JOB

Coordinate and monitor aggregators  in depots and collection point managers according to SOP

Responsible for the aggregation of local commodities like maize, soya bean, sorghum, cassava and wheat

Responsible for agricultural product development and market development.

Develop strategic sales and purchase of agro products and vendor relationship

Formulate the company’s annual commodities strategy to increase product.

Manage and coordinate the activities of the Agro Area Managers to ensure that individual targets and objectives are delivered.

Report all changes in market trends and the competitors’ market share.


THE PERSON MUST:

have knowledge of crop and soil science

be able to coordinate the input  in order to make this business more competitive

understand commercial aspect on agro products


QUALIFICATIONS


Five (5) O’ Level credits including Mathematics and English/WAEC at not more than one sitting

First degree in Agronomy (or any other Agric extensions related discipline)

MBA will be an added  advantage

AGRICULTURAL MANAGER


JOB DESCRIPTION

The incumbent will manage up to 10,000Ha of sugar plantations in the development and operational phases. He will be responsible for developing the land and support infrastructure for the establishment of new plantation. His scope of responsibility will fall under both administrative and operational functions.


The administrative responsibilities are outlined as follows:

Budget formulation taking into account capital costs, including infrastructure, buildings and plant and equipment demand and depreciation; operational costs, indirect costs including repairs and maintenance and transport and overhead costs;

Budget control by allocating Project and Job cost centres, and expense drawdown on each cost centre on a weekly basis from source records, including inventory and cashbook in order to track expenditure;

Financial reporting on a weekly basis showing updated budget-actual expenditure;

Formulation of the plantation organization structure and establishment of a sound Human Resources establishment;

Establishment of an inventory system using stock codes that is continually updated in a live document that can generate reports on a daily basis stating stock balances and value;

Finalising capex schedules for approval and procurement after satisfying the requirements for an exhaustive analysis of prices and market options;

Monthly reporting to the executive on budget-actual performance on budget and operations, as well as highlighting key performance indicators.


The operational responsibilities are outlined as follows :

Formulation of a high-level operational plan in the form of a Gantt chart which follows on from the budget Project and Job cost centres;

Establishment of a day-work plan setting out targets for all current jobs according to the Gantt chart;

Establishment of a weekly report back system from department managers on each day-work plan plotting actual against target;

Analyzing resource performance for fuel, labour and implement maintenance.;

Establishment of a sound supervisory standard through implementation of training programs through the HR department;

Definition of the scope of responsibility for the sub-ordinate managers for technical services and fields, and putting in place systems to capture agronomic operations and repairs and maintenance of plant and equipment with respect to the required standard and quality of work;

Enlisting the services of outside consultants for engineering design, tenders and environmental assessment studies.

Establishing estate infrastructure including housing, fencing roads and provision of utilities for water and electricity.

Set up and maintain a security system for the estates.

Overseeing the rehabilitation and expansion of processing facilities.

This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive. The incumbent will be expected to work on his own with a mandate to develop the plantation to economically productive levels.

The Job


  • Posting of receipts generated by the Cashier

  • Vouching of Invoices and other payable claims

  • Oversee the administration of Petty Cash and all disbursements

  • Monitoring prompt and accurate posting of:
    • BOMs and Transfer Journals for materials

    • Finished goods transfer from production to warehouse

    • Warehouse returns to Production

    • Customers return inwards

  • Ensure daily reconciliation of Axapta deliveries (Posted Invoices) to the Master Control Record

  • Monitor the implementation open purchase orders

  • Monitor timely and accurate posting of all GRVs and SRVs (raw, packaging & Spares)

  • Preparation of Tax schedules (WHT – State & Federal and VAT) for remittance by Head Office

  • Posting of scrap sales, zerorise sample sales & invoice free issues

  • Month-end provisions: water, gas, power,etc.

  • Monthly reconciliation of Ledgers balances to the Trial balance

  • Monthly stock count co-ordination and preparation of Variance Schedule

Qualifications


  • OND in Accounting , ATS  II or related field
